Hours

Hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am through 3:30 pm. All loads must be in the gate by 3:15 pm, and out of the facility by 3:30 pm.  The landfill is closed on Sundays and City observed holidays.

Hours of operation are subject to change during holiday weeks.

Rates

• The Solid Waste Transfer Station is free of charge to all Henderson City and County residential households. Must provide proof of residency in the form of a Driver's License with a Henderson County address, City of Henderson Utility Bill or Henderson County Water Bill
• The Solid Waste Transfer Station receives regular household trash, mattresses, carpet, and cushioned furniture. 
• Commercial rate for the Solid Waste Transfer Station is $58.00 per ton with a $12.00 minimum.
• Residential rate for the CD&D Transfer Station is $48.00 per ton with a $10.00 minimum for all Henderson City and County residents (non-business)
• In-County Commercial rate for the CD&D Transfer Station for any Henderson County commercial business is $85.00 per ton with a $15.00 minimum.
• Out of County rate for the CD&D Transfer Station is $124.00 per ton with a $20.00 minimum.  
• The CD&D Landfill receives all types of non-hazardous construction material. wood furniture, tree limbs, and yard waste
• Rates are prorated on every 400 lbs.

If you have a mixed load, you may be instructed by the scale operator to dump at both locations.  Please follow the instructions.

Items not taken: tires, batteries, oil, paint, chemicals, (any type of liquid) air conditioners, or refrigerators.
