Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA & ADAA)
The City of Henderson does not discriminate on the basis of disability in programs, activities, or employment opportunities and benefits pursuant to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Americans with Disabilities Amended Act of 2008. Human Resources is charged with the responsibility for ensuring compliance with the ADA, ADAA, and for responding to requests for reasonable accommodation. The Human Resources Director serves as the ADA coordinator and is responsible for responding to any charges of violation of the city’s ADA policy.
